Steel properties

ALTA 1.4034 stainless steel is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel known for its excellent wear resistance and high strength. This steel has good corrosion resistance in moderately corrosive environments. 

 

Due to its high carbon content, 1.4034 steel is capable of achieving extremely high hardness after proper heat treatment, making it excellent in many applications where wear resistance and high strength are required. It has good polishing properties and can be made into high-brightness surfaces, and is widely used in knives, surgical instruments and other fields. 
 

Applications

² Manufacture of various knives, such as kitchen knives, medical device blades, industrial blades, etc. Its hardness and wear resistance make it suitable for knife fields that need to remain sharp and durable

² Surgical instruments, dental tools and other medical devices

² Manufacture of pipes, valves, pumps and other mechanical equipment
