ALTA Cr12MoV / X12МФ

ALTA Cr12MoV is a high carbon-chromium tool steel (Cr12% version, ledeburite organization). This is also a very commonly used cold work tool steel in China, Southeast Asia, Russia, Ukraine, Belraus, India etc markets. It comes with higher wear resistance, toughness and strength than D3, 1.2080. ALTA Cr12MoV steel can basically replace D3, 1.2080 steel in all usage scenarios, acted as a economic type grade of D2, 1.2379.

Alta 1.2210 SPEC (011 - S6 - T1 )

ALTA 1.2210 is a chrome-vanadium steel with the middle hardenability for hardening in oil and water, relatively good toughness at the high hardness, good resistance to the wear and cutting power. More difficult ductility during the heat and good workability in the annealed state.

Alta D2 SPEC (011 - S6 - T1 )

ALTA D2 is a high carbon-chromium tool steel (Cr-Mo-V, Cr12% version, ledeburite organization). This is a very commonly used cold work tool steel, comes with high wear resistance (higher than D3, 1.2080), good cutting power, very good firmness in the pressure, lower toughness (but higher than D3, 1.2080). This ALTA D2 tool steel shows good dimensional stability at the heat treatment, suitable for hardening to the secondary hardness (the possibility of nitriding).
